Nouns Grammar Rules

In general nouns refer to a person, an object, or abstract ideas. For example: a fast runner the noun is [runner] because it refers to a person. The examples below use nouns in different ways and places to demonstrate how they behave in a sentence.

[verb + noun] Կաթ ունեք? Audio [Kat’ unek’?]
I have milk and coffee
[preposition + noun] Ես կաթ և սուրճ ունեմ: Audio [Yes kat’ yev surch unem.]
he has three apples
[number + plural noun] Նա երեք խնձոր ունի: Audio [Na yerek’ khndzor uni]
she only has one apple
[number + singular noun] Նա միայն մեկ խնձոր ունի: Audio [Na miayn mek khndzor uni]
we live in a small house
[adjective + noun] Մենք ապրում ենք մի փոքր տան մեջ: Audio [Menk’ aprum yenk’ mi p’vok’r tan mej]
I like our breakfast
[pronoun + noun] Ինձ դուր է գալիս մեր նախաճաշը: Audio [Indz dur e galis mer nakhachashy]
