Nouns Grammar Rules

In general nouns refer to a person, an object, or abstract ideas. For example: a fast runner the noun is [runner] because it refers to a person. The examples below use nouns in different ways and places to demonstrate how they behave in a sentence.

[verb + noun] আপোনাৰ তাত গাখীৰ আছেনে?
[Āpōnāra tāta gākhīra āchēnē?]

[preposition + noun] মোৰ গাখীৰ আৰু কফি আছে।
[Mōra gākhīra ārau kaphi āchē.]
he has three apples
[number + plural noun] তেখেতৰ তিনিটা আপেল আছে।
[Tēkhētara tiniṭā āpēla āchē.]
she only has one apple
[number + singular noun] তেখেতৰ মাথো এটাহে আপেল আছে।
[Tēkhētara māthō ēṭāhē āpēla āchē.]

[adjective + noun] আমি এটা সৰু ঘৰত বাস কৰোঁ।
