Adjectives Grammar Rules

In general adjectives are words which describe or modify another person or object in a given sentence. For example: a beautiful flower the adjective is [beautiful] because it describes the noun [flower]. The following examples use adjectives in different ways and places to demonstrate how they behave in a sentence.

Grammar Rules - Telugu + Pronunciation
my house is white
[noun + adjective] మాఇల్లు Audio [Mā'illu]
your country is big
[noun + adjective] మీ దేశం పెద్దది Audio [Mī dēśaṁ peddadi]
new books are expensive
[plural + adjective] కొత్త పుస్తకాలు ఖరీదైనవి Audio [Kotta pustakālu kharīdainavi]
we are happy here
[pronoun + verb + adjective] మేము ఇక్కడ సంతోషంగా ఉన్నాయి Audio [Mēmu ikkaḍa santōṣaṅgā unnāyi]
she has three small dogs
[adjective + plural] ఆమె దగ్గర మూడు చిన్న కుక్కలున్నవి Audio [Āme daggara mūḍu cinna kukkalunnavi]
this language is very easy
[adverb + adjective] ఈ భాష చాలా సులభం Audio [Ī bhāṣa cālā sulabhaṁ]
I have a small green house
[adjective + adjective] నాకు ఒక చిన్నఆకుపచ్చని ఇల్లు ఉన్నది Audio [Nāku oka cinna'ākupaccani illu unnadi]

We're not done yet! The following is a list of more adjectives for you, often used when referring to weather conditions. I think it would be wise to memorize them.

Now we finally reach the most exciting part, the practice of the daily expressions used in almost every conversation. I recommend memorizing these phrases, because you will need them for sure.
