grey ತಿಳಿ [Tiḷi]
white ಬಿಳಿ [Biḷi]
blue ನೀಲಿ [Nīli]
green ಹಸಿರು [Hasiru]
yellow ಹಳದಿ [Haḷadi]
red ಕೆಂಪು [Kempu]

Adjectives Grammar Rules
In general adjectives are words which describe or modify another person or object in a given sentence. For example: a beautiful flower the adjective is [beautiful] because it describes the noun [flower]. The following examples use adjectives in different ways and places to demonstrate how they behave in a sentence.
Grammar Rules - Kannada + Pronunciation
my house is white [noun + adjective] ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯ ಬಣ್ಣ ಬಿಳಿ [Nanna maneya baṇṇa biḷi]
your country is big [noun + adjective] ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇಶ ದೊಡ್ದಧು [Nim'ma dēśa doḍdadhu]
new books are expensive [plural + adjective] ಹೊಸ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳು ದುಬಾರಿ [Hosa pustakagaḷu dubāri]
we are happy here [pronoun + verb + adjective] ನಾವು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗಿ ಇದ್ದೇವೆ [Nāvu illi santōṣavāgi iddēve]
she has three small dogs [adjective + plural] ಅವಳ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಮೂರು ಸಣ್ಣ ನಾಯಿಗಳು ಇವೆ [Avaḷa hattira mūru saṇṇa nāyigaḷu ive]
this language is very easy [adverb + adjective] ಈ ಭಾಷೆ ತುಂಬ ಸುಲಭ [Ī bhāṣe tumba sulabha]
I have a smallgreen house [adjective + adjective] ನನ್ನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಸಣ್ಣ ಹಸಿರು ಮನೆ ಇದೆ [Nanna hattira saṇṇa hasiru mane ide]
We're not done yet! The following is a list of more adjectives for you, often used when referring to weather conditions. I think it would be wise to memorize them.
cold ತಣ್ಣಗೆ/ ತಂಡಿ [Taṇṇage/ taṇḍi]
hot ಬಿಸಿ [Bisi]
cloudy ಮೋಡ ಕವಿದ [Mōḍa kavida]
rainy ಮಳೆ ಕವಿದ [Maḷe kavida]
snowy ಹಿಮ ಕವಿದ [Hima kavida]
sunny ಬಿಸಿಲು ಕವಿದ [Bisilu kavida]
windy ಗಾಳಿ [Gāḷi]
warm ಬೆಚ್ಚಗೆ [Beccage]
Conversation in Kannada
Now we finally reach the most exciting part, the practice of the daily expressions used in almost every conversation. I recommend memorizing these phrases, because you will need them for sure.

hi ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ [Namaskāra]
how are you? ನೀವು ಹೇಗೆ ಇದ್ದೀರಾ [Nīvu hēge iddīrā]
I'm good, thank you ನಾನು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ, ಧನ್ಯವಾಧಗಳು [Nānu cennāgi iddēne, dhan'yavādhagaḷu]
and you? ತಾವು [Tāvu]
what is your name? ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರು ಏನು [Nim'ma hesaru ēnu]
