I would like to welcome you to the Estonian lessons. I'm here to help you learn Estonian, by going step by step. All the lessons contain audio and are all offered for free. We will learn the alphabet together. We will also review some simple grammar rules, practice common phrases, and we will have fun memorizing many important vocabulary lists, and everything else that you see below.
You can either choose a random lesson below or start with me lesson by lesson. If so, let's start with the alphabet.
You can either pick a lesson from the table above, or read more about this beautiful language.

Estonian is a Uralic language and is closely related to Finnish.
Estonian (like Finnish) uses the Latin script as the basis for its alphabet, which adds the letters ä, ö, ü, and õ, plus the later additions š and ž. The letters c, q, w, x and y are limited to proper names of foreign origin, and f, z, š, and ž appear in loanwords and foreign names only.
