Nouns Grammar Rules

In general nouns refer to a person, an object, or abstract ideas. For example: a fast runner the noun is [runner] because it refers to a person. The examples below use nouns in different ways and places to demonstrate how they behave in a sentence.

[verb + noun] আপনার কাছে দুধ আছে? Audio [āpanāra kāchē dudha āchē?]
I have milk and coffee
[preposition + noun] আমার কাছে দুধ এবং কফি আছে Audio [āmāra kāchē dudha ēbaṁ kaphi āchē]
he has three apples
[number + plural noun] তার কাছে তিনটি আপেল আছে Audio [tāra kāchē tinaṭi āpēla āchē]
she only has one apple
[number + singular noun] তার কাছে শুধুমাত্র একটি আপেল আছে Audio [tāra kāchē śudhumātra ēkaṭi āpēla āchē]
we live in a small house
[adjective + noun] আমরা একটি ছোট বাড়িতে থাকি Audio [āmarā ēkaṭi chōṭa bāṛitē thāki]
