Adjectives Grammar Rules
In general adjectives are words which describe or modify another person or object in a given sentence. For example: a beautiful flower the adjective is [beautiful] because it describes the noun [flower]. The following examples use adjectives in different ways and places to demonstrate how they behave in a sentence.
Grammar Rules - Nepali + Pronunciation
my house is white [noun + adjective] मेरो घर सेतो छ [mērō ghara sētō cha]
your country is big [noun + adjective] तिम्रो देश ठुलो छ [timrō dēśa ṭhulō cha]
new books are expensive [plural + adjective] नयाँ किताबहरु महँगा छन् [nayām̐ kitābaharu maham̐gā chan]
we are happy here [pronoun + verb + adjective] हामी यहाँ खुशी छौं [hāmī yahām̐ khuśī chauṁ]
she has three small dogs [adjective + plural] उनिसंग तीनवटा साना कुकुर छन् [unisaṅga tīnavaṭā sānā kukura chan]
this language is very easy [adverb + adjective] यो भाषा सजिलो छ [yō bhāṣā sajilō cha]
I have a smallgreen house [adjective + adjective] मसंग सानो हरियो घर छ [masaṅga sānō hariyō ghara cha]
We're not done yet! The following is a list of more adjectives for you, often used when referring to weather conditions. I think it would be wise to memorize them.
cold जाडो [jāḍō]
hot तातो [tātō]
cloudy बादल लागेको [bādala lāgēkō]
rainy पानी परिरहेको [pānī parirahēkō]
snowy हिउँ परिरहेको [hi'um̐ parirahēkō]
sunny घमाइलो [ghamā'ilō]
windy हावा चलेको [hāvā calēkō]
warm न्यानो [n'yānō]
Conversation in Nepali
Now we finally reach the most exciting part, the practice of the daily expressions used in almost every conversation. I recommend memorizing these phrases, because you will need them for sure.

how are you? तपाईंलाई कस्तो छ ? [tapā'īnlā'ī kastō cha?]
I'm good, thank you मलाई सन्चै छ, धन्यवाद [malā'ī sancai cha, dhan'yavāda]
and you? अनि तपाईंलाई नी ? [ani tapā'īnlā'ī nī?]
what is your name? तपाईंको नाम के हो ? [tapā'īṅkō nāma kē hō?]
