Nouns Grammar Rules

In general nouns refer to a person, an object, or abstract ideas. For example: a fast runner the noun is [runner] because it refers to a person. The examples below use nouns in different ways and places to demonstrate how they behave in a sentence.

I have milk and coffee
[preposition + noun] મારી પાસે દૂધ અને કોફી છે Audio [meāreī peāse deūdh ane keopheī chhe]
he has three apples
[number + plural noun] તેની પાસે ત્રણ સફરજન છે Audio [teeneī peāse te'reṇ sepherejen chhe]
she only has one apple
[number + singular noun] તેણી પાસે માત્ર એક સફરજન છે Audio [teeṇeī peāse meāte'r ek sepherejen chhe]
we live in a small house
[adjective + noun] અમે એક નાના ઘરમાં રહીએ છીએ Audio [ame ek neāneā gheremeām reheī chheī]
