Adjectives Grammar Rules
In general adjectives are words which describe or modify another person or object in a given sentence. For example: a beautiful flower the adjective is [beautiful] because it describes the noun [flower]. The following examples use adjectives in different ways and places to demonstrate how they behave in a sentence.
Grammar Rules - Serbian + Pronunciation
my house is white [noun + adjective] моја кућа је бела [moјa kooća јye byela]
your country is big [noun + adjective] ваша земља је велика [vasha zyemlja јye vyelika]
new books are expensive [plural + adjective] нове књиге су скупе [novye kњiguye soo skoopye]
we are happy here [pronoun + verb + adjective] ми смо срећни овде [mi smo sryećni ovdye]
she has three small dogs [adjective + plural] она има три мала пса [ona ima tri mala psa]
this language is very easy [adverb + adjective] овај језик је веома лак [ovaј јyezik јye vyeoma lak]
I have a smallgreen house [adjective + adjective] имам малу стаклену башту [imam maloo staklyenoo bashtoo]
We're not done yet! The following is a list of more adjectives for you, often used when referring to weather conditions. I think it would be wise to memorize them.
cold хладно [khladno]
hot вруће [vrooćye]
cloudy облачно [oblachno]
rainy кишовито [kishovito]
snowy снежне падавине [snyeʐnye padavinye]

Now we finally reach the most exciting part, the practice of the daily expressions used in almost every conversation. I recommend memorizing these phrases, because you will need them for sure.
English - Serbian - Pronunciation
hi здраво! [zdravo!]
how are you? како сте? [kako stye?]
I'm good, thank you добро сам, хвала! [dobro sam, khvala!]
and you? а ви? [a vi?]
what is your name? како се зовеш? [kako sye zovyesh?]
my name is Maya моје име је маја [moјye imye јye maјa]
nice to meet you драго ми је! [draguo mi јye!]
