Igbo, like many other West African languages, has borrowed words from European languages, mainly English. Did you know that Igbo has only 8 adjectives (ukwu 'big', nta 'small'; oji 'dark', ọcha 'light'; ọhụrụ 'new', ochie 'old'; ọma 'good'; "ọjọọ" 'bad'). |
