I would like to welcome you to the Farsi lessons. I'm here to help you learn Farsi, by going step by step. All the lessons contain audio and are all offered for free. We will learn the alphabet together. We will also review some simple grammar rules, practice common phrases, and we will have fun memorizing many important vocabulary lists, and everything else that you see below.

Tips:	The term Persian often refers to three groups of dialects: Farsi (فارسی‎ fārsi) is the local name of the language in Iran, and is sometimes used in English instead of the word Persian when referring to the language. Dari (دری‎ darī ) is a Persian dialect and one of the two official languages of Afghanistan. Tajik (тоҷикӣ / تاجیکی ‎ - tojikī) is a group of dialects spoken in Central Asia. If you speak Farsi, you are considered to be able to speak Dari and Tajik as well, because the three are mutually intelligible.
