Moroccan Adjectives

Adjectives Grammar Rules

In general adjectives are words which describe or modify another person or object in a given sentence. For example: a beautiful flower the adjective is [beautiful] because it describes the noun [flower]. The following examples use adjectives in different ways and places to demonstrate how they behave in a sentence.

Grammar Rules - Moroccan + Pronunciation
my house is white
[noun + adjective] داري بيضا Audio [dari beyda]
your country is big
[noun + adjective] بلادك كبيرا Audio [bladek kbeera]
new books are expensive
[plural + adjective] لكتوب الجداد غاليين Audio [lektoob jdad ghalyeen]
we are happy here
[pronoun + verb + adjective] حنا فرحانين هنا Audio [hna ferhaneen hna]
she has three small dogs
[adjective + plural] عندها تلاتا ديال لكلاب Audio [Ʒandha tlata dyal leklaab]
this language is very easy
[adverb + adjective] هاد اللغة ساهلا بزاف Audio [had lugha sahla bezaf]
I have a small green house
[adjective + adjective] عندي دار صغيرة خضرة Audio [Ʒandy dar sgheera khedra]
