Filipino’s standardized form, commonly called Tagalog, is the national language and one of two official languages of the Philippines. 96% of the Philippines’ population can speak Filipino. The Filipino alphabet had changed from the Pilipino-Tagalog Abakada version to a new 28-letter alphabet to make room for loans, especially family names from Spanish and English. |
