About me: I would like to work for your company as a freelance Maltese<>English language translator, proofreader, localization consultant for Australian English and Maltese and branding analyst for the Australian and Maltese market. I have been working as a freelance National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI) level 3 accredited translator in the Maltese and English language both directions since 1984. Matters with which I have been involved include SPCs and PILs for the EMEA, EU Greenhouse gas emissions, Natura 2000, Safety Data Sheets, Technical Papers, Airlines and Wine Agreement between Australia and the EU and Welfare benefits. My rates are 130 Euros per 1000 words for translation. I also charge 26 Euros an hour for proofreading (1000 words an hour). I also do quality management for the same rate as the proofreading rate. I am only interested in small projects ie less than 5000 words. I also have a minimum (up to 100 words) fee of 13 Euros if paid via paypal and 20 Euros if paid by cheque. I translate 1500 words a day.
